Our appointment system has been designed to maximise your consultation time with Dr. Fine and reduce wait times.
When you arrive
Once you arrive at your surgery in Bondi Junction or Maroubra, check yourself in using our computer service, or speak to one of our friendly receptionists. They'll make sure Dr. Fine knows you are here and ready for your appointment.
Before and after-school appointments
Our younger patients are likely to need appointments before or after school - and we do what we can to accommodate this.
We reserve our early-morning and late-afternoon slots for shorter appointments, such as check-ups and adjustments. The majority of your orthodontic appointments will be short appointments. Other times of the day are available longer appointments, such as doctor consultations, fitting and removal of braces, or more complicated adjustments.
If you need a medical certificate for work or school, let our team know and we'll be happy to provide one.
If you are late for your appointment - but it still falls within your scheduled time - kindly report directly to our receptionist when you arrive. This way, we can let you know whether your treatment can still take place, or if you will need to book another appointment.
In the event that you arrive after your allocated slot, we will need to reschedule.
Cancelling your appointment
We understand times may arise when you might need to cancel your appointment. Kindly phone the practice as soon as you know you won't be able to make it during your allotted time and we will arrange an alternative.
The more notice you give, the more likely it is we will be able to find a time and date that suits you, and that won't delay your treatment.
When you receive your orthodontic appliance, we will give you care instructions to make sure it stays in top condition. If you follow these steps, your appliances should stay intact.
In the event of breakage, we'll have to revert back to lighter wires, which will delay your treatment.
You will need to book a repair appointment, which is a complex adjustment and likely to take some time. It's therefore unlikely we'll be able to carry out this work during an early-morning or late-afternoon appointment slot.
