Dr. Martin Fine
Sydney Orthodontist Dr Martin Fine has his Sydney Orthodontic Practices in Bondi Junction and Maroubra.
Dr Fine loves being an orthodontist, and looks forward to coming to work each day to see his patients. He is committed to lifelong learning about the orthodontic specialty.
Dr Fine has been an orthodontist for over 30 years. He has been a clinical instructor, teaching orthodontists at Sydney Dental Hospital. He has also been a visiting specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital. He has presented at several national and international orthodontic meetings.
He works closely with other dental specialists in managing complex cases.
Dr Fine is comfortable using a full range of orthodontic systems for his patients to treat patients of all ages, from growing children to adults. Whatever your orthodontic needs, he can help you out.

Hannah
Meet our Treatment Coordinator and Practice Manager, Hannah.
She has been working with Dr Fine since 2015, and is a genius at coordinating and organising.
Hannah has been a qualified Dental Nurse for 12 years, and 10 of those years she has been working in Orthodontics.
Originally from the North of England, Hannah is definitely a people person, who is passionate about seeing our patients' transformation journeys and meeting new people every day, who she can then build a rapport with.
Outside of the practices, Hannah enjoys taking photos, travelling, and spending her time with family and pets.
She can also answer any questions you may have at your consultation and during your treatment.
Adriana
Adriana joined Fine Orthodontics in 2015 and began working as an Orthodontic Assistant for Dr Fine in his Maroubra and Bondi Junction Offices.
She has now been the Clinical Coordinator for 8 years and loves the ability of being able to constantly grow and progress through innovative techniques, appliances, and technologies. Her can-do attitude is unmatched and no obstacle can throw her off.
She is amazingly organised and knows exactly what is going on in the clinic at all times, which makes her one of the main reasons that our days run so smoothly for both staff and patients.
In 2005 Adriana graduated in Colombia as a Dental Hygienist, and moved to Australia in 2010 to work in that field.
Her passion outside of orthodontics is being active, going on coastal walks and hiking.
Harmony
Introducing one of our Orthodontic Assistants: Harmony.
Having had treatment with Dr Fine himself when she was younger, she is committed to providing amazing service.
Since 2020 she has been part of the Fine Team, which also marks her first full-time job after finishing her HSC in 2019.
What Harmony enjoys the most about working in orthodontics with Dr Fine is that no patient is the same and meeting new people is essential for her happiness. She loves seeing the journey everybody goes through from when they first enter the practice to when they leave with their Fine Smiles.
With her unmatched patience and nurturing personality, Harmony excels especially in caring for our younger patients.
When she is not in the practice, Harmony enjoys going out and spending quality time with her friends.
Mehr
When you first arrive at either of the clinics, Mehr is one of the friendly faces at the front desk, that will greet and introduce you to the clinic.
As she currently is studying towards her Bachelor in Clinical Science, her interest in orthodontics, and clinical life in general, is a major factor of why she chose to join the Fine Family.
She loves seeing the amazing changes in appearance and confidence that patients achieve when completing their orthodontic treatment with us.
Being a 'people person', Mehr enjoys greeting patients and making them feel as comfortable and welcome as possible. She also likes helping others and organising, which is why she is extremely important for our smooth running days.
Outside of work and studying, Mehr enjoys hiking and has a passion for beauty and health.
Daniel
Danny has been part of the Fine Team since March 2020, after his impressive career change from Electronic Engineering to Orthodontics.
His interest was sparked when he got braces himself and realised how much it changes a person’s life. That is why today, as a Dental Assistant, he is determined to help people get a big and beautiful smile, because he knows what it feels like to be without one.
While at work his passion lies in sterilising and cleanliness, when he is off the clock he loves riding his motorbike around Sydney and enjoying walks along the beach.
Abby
Abby is our Oral Health Therapist/Orthodontic Hygienist.
Since graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2020, she is not only working in both the Maroubra and Bondi Junction clinics, but also travels to Queenstown, New Zealand, with Dr Fine.
Her experience record is unmatched, as she has not only had Dental experience in multiple Sydney hospitals, but also a year of previous orthodontic experience.
Additionally, Abby has volunteered at Yenu Allowah Aboriginal Child and Family centre to educate about Oral Health.
She has a true passion for orthodontics, that is brought out by her always doing the most to make patients comfortable while they are in the clinic and making sure that everybody is relaxed and leaves with a smile.
Seeing patients' excitement when they get their braces removed, or finish any treatment is something that makes Abby enjoy her job every single day.
Yaren
Meet our newest Fine Team member, Yaren!
She started working as a Dental Assistant in the Maroubra and Bondi Junction Clinics in March 2022.
Her interests outside of her work lies in Health, as she has graduated with a Bachelor in Sport & Exercise Science in 2020, after already acquiring her Certificate III in Fitness. Additionally, she has her 3rd Dan Black Belt with 14 years of training and instructing, which is super cool and scary at the same time.. ;)
At Fine Orthodontics, Yaren’s enjoys making people happier and more confident with their smiles, as she loves being surrounded by smiles and happiness, which fits in with her bubbly personality.
Lisa
Lisa joined the Fine Team at the beginning of the year 2022 as Marketing & Social Media Coordinator.
She had been working in the orthodontic industry for 3 years already, as a Practice Manager, and after graduating with a Bachelor in Business at the end of 2021, she took the next step into advancing her career in the orthodontic industry.
Her interest in orthodontics is maintained by the way technology is continuously advancing and making it easier and faster for patients to achieve a great smile. It makes her happy to see how much a person’s attitude and personality can change with an improved smile.
Outside of the clinics, she enjoys working out, going for sunrise swims, and discovering new places.
Amela
Amela has been working with Fine Orthodontics as an Orthodontic Technician since 2008.
With 20 years of experience in dental technology, and 17 of those years in orthodontics, she is an absolute expert at her craft. She is a perfectionist, and her attention-to-detail is outstanding.
Thanks to Amela Dr Fine is able to only work with appliances that are made in-house and therefore are completely customised for each patient.
Amela works closely with Dr Fine to make each and every appliance with precision and quality, and she enjoys seeing complex cases achieve an outstanding outcome.
But it’s not only precision that Amela brings, we also value, her positive personality. She always finds time to lend a helping hand and open ear to any of her colleagues.
Outside of work, Amela enjoys spending time with her family.
Mary
Meet our lovely Accounts Manager: Mary.
She has been working with us since 2013 and never ceases to be amazed by the wonderful results that Dr Fine and his team are able to achieve.
Having grown up and currently living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Mary works in both our Maroubra and Bondi Junction clinics, and enjoys being part of the Fine Family.
Whenever she is not managing everything around accounts and finance, Mary enjoys reading, art, travelling, and most importantly: spending time with her granddaughters.
