Digitally customised clear aligner treatment (such as Invisalign) is ground-breaking technology designed to straighten your teeth in a discreet way. Rather than using metal braces, clear aligner treatment consists of a series of clear plastic aligners which move your teeth into the right positions. These aligners can be removed for meal times, when cleaning your teeth, or when you’re attending important occasions.
Why not book a free* assessment appointment at our Maroubra or Bondi Junction office? Our friendly team will be able to tell you more about how clear aligners (including Invisalign) work, take photographs of your teeth and help decide whether it’s the right treatment for you.
There are different clear aligner treatment programmes. Our specialist orthodontist, Dr Martin Fine will recommend the one that’s most suited to your needs, as well as use the system to design a personalised treatment plan just for you. (Please remember that treatment may or may not be suitable for you as each patient has unique individual circumstances).
Always read the label and follow the instructions for use.
Clear aligner treatment (such as Invisalign) uses 3D digital technology to straighten your teeth and correct your bite. Treatment times are usually from 6-18 months, depending upon the complexity.
Specialist orthodontist, Dr Martin Fine will design and test your plan before you get your aligners.
In some situations, you might be able to achieve a quick result if minor corrections are all that is needed. We offer express aligners which are designed for adult patients with minor orthodontic alignment problems and could straighten your teeth in three to six months.
Clear aligners for teens
The virtually invisible aligners can be removed when enjoying sport or playing an instrument, and are available with blue dot indicators which will help keep track of how long they’ve been worn. For optimal results, patients are recommended to wear their aligners (such as Invisalign) for around 22 hours per day.
In many instances, clear aligner treatment (for example, Invisalign) is appropriate for young children; depending on their individual circumstances. It is necessary to fully assess a child before confirming that this is a suitable option for the problem at hand.
what is it?
Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that gradually move teeth into their desired positions.
Invisalign clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology and have been proven effective provided they are worn as instructed.
